ABOUT ME 〰️
Hey there potential client, employer, colleague, friend, overbearing Mum. Thanks for checking out my site. Here’s a bit more about me and what makes me tick.
I’m a multi-disciplinary marketer who loves working with brands to build their identity, blending with creative with the commercial to elevate performance while carving out a unique voice.
Early days I cut my teeth on agency work for a local Adelaide-based company called Honeyweb, where managing a portfolio of over 60 clients in industries as diverse as wine to water valves was a baptism of fire. I handled everything from performance marketing & content creation to copywriting & relationship building - quickly learning the value of autonomy, time management & double-shot oat lattes (AKA productivity juice).
18 months later I moved into a content writing role at Ryderwear, a global activewear brand repped by the likes of Kai Greene, Karina Elle and…Nicki Minaj (yes, really). I quickly upped my weight at Ryderwear, stepping into the role of Content Marketing manager where I led the ideation, creation and distribution of content for Ryderwear and the Ryderwear family of brands. I was also the custodian for the Ryderwear brand voice, ensuring all content & copy was aligned with our brand identity. I quickly discovered I had a passion and penchant for brand marketing, and decided I wanted to spend my working hours building cool brands that offer elevated customer experiences & communities of raving fans.
Fast forward four years, one global pandemic and four five six seven* Chelsea FC managers later, and I’ve found myself as the Head of & Marketing & Brand at SKDA Moto Creative. From campaign & budget anagement to graphic decision & email marketing there’s not a lot I don’t do (and you can check it out on my portfolio here).
With a full stack of marketing skills under my belt, I can now offer elevated, targeted marketing services across a myriad of channels. I specialise in working with small-medium sized businesses who haven’t quite found that all-so-important brand voice & identity yet, or those who just want to level up their marketing but don’t quite have the resources for an in-house team. If this sounds like something you want to hear more about, just head over to my services page and I’ll tell you all about it.
In the meantime, I’ve answered some questions from a Reddit thread called ‘Interesting First Date Questions’ to give you a bit more of an insight into me.
