Changing the face of fitness
Champions of Change was an initiative created by myself and the team at Ryderwear, designed to create change and elevate voices in the fitness community through product, programs and platform. The centrepiece of this project was a unisex tee designed in collaboration with Ryderwear athlete Ashley Jenelle, with 100% of the profits donated to organisations that support the health & wellbeing of Black, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The next level is a level playing field
-
Inspired by the idea of strength through unity and that iconic Martin Luther King Jr. speech in 63, this tee allows you to support social change while you sweat.
-
Profits from this tee were divided between two organisations - Black Women’s Health Imperative and Challenges Into Opportunities.
Black Women’s Health Imperative is the only US non-profit dedicated to the health & wellbeing of Black women, seeking to improve health policy, education & wellbeing of Black women.
Challenges into Opportunities (Main Event) is dedicated to improving the mental health & wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth through boxing inspired fitness programs. Main Event’s primary outcome is to use exercise to create a safe community that removes youth from negative influences while also offering mentorship for the next generation of Indigenous leaders. -
Cop it here, and make change while you make gains
